Veriler, \u00e7e\u015fitli makinalardan ve \u00fcr\u00fcnlerin \u00e7e\u015fitli boyut vb. \u00f6zelliklerinin okunarak toplanmas\u0131yla elde edilir. Toplanan bu veriler, s\u00fcreci izlemek ve kontrol etmek i\u00e7in kullan\u0131l\u0131r. \u0130PK, de\u011fi\u015fkenli\u011fi azaltarak '\u00dcr\u00fcn Kalitesini' art\u0131rmak i\u00e7in kullan\u0131lan bir ara\u00e7t\u0131r.
